I FORGOT HOW TO DRESS MYSELF

Well for a while I did some posts of what I was wearing, but then I couldn't be bothered dressing well for work so then I stopped doing them. I have been really slack with my appearance of late and really uninspired for anything that doesn't get worn on my head. I also got a big tattoo on my leg done over the last month so I have been wearing my Ksubi trackpant jeans a lot because they are baggy. Sometimes when it's epic cold I wear Am Appy over the knee socks underneath too. Bangin'.

Anyway, I found these on my camera which were half arsed attempts at getting dressed and which I had intended to post but then realised that the outfits weren't really THAT worthy of their own posts. So now I'm lumping them together here.

I really like this pic because of the amazing colored background. I used to dress like this A LOT, always wearing a housewife styled bandana with Free's and a brand name tee. I've been wearing brand tee's a lot less lately and opting for more tailored and vintage stuff on top. I have a shit load of tee's though so it's kind of a waste - lots of my fave brands like MOB, Hellz, DimePiece, MadeMe and Rebel8. That's my fave denim jacket also. I wear it a hell of a lot, but, like a good leather jacket it is a staple. This pic was taken at Mays Lane which is an inner-west outdoor graff gallery in Sydney. I used to live right next door and get high on the paint fumes from my balcony.

These are the aforemntioned Ksubi denim trackies. They are fucking amazing. They are so comfortable and can really be dressed up or down. This was sailor day and it was the day after I got the first installment of my leg done. Not sure why I have been wearing white trainers so much? I don't really like that so much, it's pretty uninspired. But sometimes white Free's are really the best way to go, especially for work when I have to dress a bit boring.

Then, this was my housewarming which was aaaaaaaaaages ago in May actually? This is my favourite dress EVER. It's black denim acid wash from Romance Was Born, prior to them going whck-house fairies in the garden and knitted hats and Frankie magazine 14 year old grandma shit. I've never worn it as a winter dress before but decided to tee it with a black v-neck, fish nets and red lipstick and red Reebok freestyles. I likey. This is also when I really got into wearing shit on my head after I got these Mickey Mouse ears at a party store for $5.

And since then shit has gotten whack on my head. I've moved away from Mouse Ears into all sorts of bows and headband creations. Here's a couple of pics which I've posted on twitter which document my fall into obsessive headwear accessorizing.
My fave little harajuku hat which I bought from a drag store in Surfers Paradise. Tackorama.
This is from when I hosted MTV's The Lair live filming. I was REALLY bad and I think that is the end of my hosting career.
Feeling fruity - previous post here
And the dice. My original creation which have sparked this new weird craft obsession.
Oh yeah hahah. And the Daisy Duck hat. :/

And this pic is a taste of what's to come with a few clues in there for the inspectors amongst you... I have about 3 new headwear pieces to post which I made last weekend when I made this mess. I will try and photo them and post them in the next few days. I'm going to Melbourne next week too and am going to assault those southern seriously stuck-up streetwear snobs with my ridiculous creations. Suck it.
